What People Are Saying About Us

Although there are many good things to say about Ho'omana Thrift Store, personally I find the hiring process inspiring! The employees are persons with capabilities not as some would say disabilities.

The Spirit of Aloha is very much present! And besides that the ambience is pretty cool!

The store offers from the tiniest knick knacks to clothing, accessories, furnishings for your home from small to large appliances and more.

Besides them giving back to the community, the service was AWESOME and they had lots of great deals (many items still with tags on them). The store was clean and it was easy to locate items in the store. Elisa Martin May 23, 2019

They have gently worn clothing, items you cannot imagine still exit, continuously receiving donations that are unimaginable, like kimonos, and antique tableware, just an array of things you might enjoy. Laola Peahu Rapozo January 20, 2019

LOVED shopping here on our vacation. Came away with some really cute stuff!  Angie Ladd McCord  October 11, 2018

Ho’omana, Inc. has been a partner in delivering financial education to Kauai’ children with special needs since 2009. HCA will continue our partnership for the benefit of Kauai’s children with special needs.”    J. Gilbreath, Executive Director…Hawaiian Community Assets…6/1/2014

My hope is that his treasure of aloha called Ho’omana will continue not only to exist, but thrive in further excellence”
Pastor Matt Higa, Kauai Foursquare District Superintendent…6/20/2014

”What a great little thrift store and more importantly, a great way to help the special needs community on the island. Donate $1 and everything is 1/2 off. Bought two name brand athletic pants for $3 (with my $1 donation); gave $5 (all the cash I had…wish it was more!).  Flora Y …-6/12/2015

This was the best thrift store we found in the Kapaa area – mostly clothing with an array of other thrifty items. Everything is organized into color coded tags and there was a sale going on when we went so our items were half price with a $1 donation to a local charity. Sarah X – 2012
