Dealing With A Flooded Store

While Rowena has been taking outreach mobile, Anela and Roy have been handling the not so fun business of emptying and cleaning the store.

So much was damaged in the flood March 28, 2020 and the mess has to be cleaned up ASAP.

The photos below show you a time just after much of the clean up had been done but there was still so much to do.

We are looking for ways to be able to fund a brand new power box that is much needed on the store in order to open safely for customers and staff.

As you can imagine, with limited resources, no revenue, and only 2-3 employees, this job has not been quick or easy.  We still plan to reopen eventually, we just don't know when.

We hope you'll understand when you call asking about dropping off a donation.

At this time, our store is in NO condition to receive, store, or sell anything.  We know this has been a hardship on many people and we thank you for your patience.

Please know that both Rowena and Anela have put 17 years of their lives into Ho'omana and are doing everything in their power to get back on their feet.

Below, you'll see two pictures with some work Roy and Anela have done so far.  Lots more to do
